It has been reported that Google might be testing a 20 or more search results on a single page. By default, Google shows 10 results on for any given keyword in a single search engine result page. Now for some search terms Google is forcing us to see more than 10 results per search engine result page. The most interesting fact is that most of the people who have noticed the same have noticed it from FireFox or Chrome. The first person to have reported the same is Andy Beal and then came a report from Barry Schwartz in his Search Engine Land post. I have also noticed similar change when I searched some specific brand names. I was in the attempt to figure out if this is going to be an official change and finally I landed on the SEO Round Table article of new search result changes coming in Google .

Google CEO Eric Schmidt while speaking at IFA consumer electronics event in Berlin has pointed everyone to vision of search in future- “A new definition of Google would be, we’re trying very hard to get you something fast”.The above vision might be lot helpful to webmasters and SEO’s. Everything in the search industry is going to be fast from search results to website loading. Everyone needs to start optimizing their website for “Give me quick or I’m out” way of visitors. It has been reported that Google is testing Streaming results as you type which will provide searchers on Google Search Engine an interactive and fast experience.I would suggest everyone to be prepared for a faster search experience.
