Why I Like Firefox than Internet Explorer?

26 Jan 2010 03:25 am

I have been using Internet Explorer nowadays since I am in college, whem my dad bought me a computer and an internet connection on that day. I am using Internet Explorer just for researching purposes, and sometimes for following up my social network and media accounts like Facebook and Friendster. When I use Internet Explorer, sometimes it does not satisfy me at all because of it's limited features and tools.

I continued browsing all over the internet until one of my friends talked to me about Firefox. So what is Mozilla Firefox anyway? This is a revolutionized internet browser with lots of tools that I can install, especially SEO tools like my favorite Seoquake and Stumble toolbar. It was very comfortable to deal with and I have no choice but to switch into Mozilla Firefox immediately.

My dad wondered why I switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox? I explain it to him and he understood that this has more benefits than Internet Explorer. I am also interested on SEO because this is the main reason why webmasters gain a lot of customers and revenue in their websites, eCommerce or blogs. I have also tried NetScape and Safari before, but I don't like either of them. So right now I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

I also installed the NoDoFollow tool which is a Firefox extension tool which is important to me, for determining websites and links who are do-follow and who are no-follow. It can easily be detected by activating it and you can see "blue highlighted links" as do-follow, and "red highlighted links" as no-follow. Another tool I used right now is the Seoquake toolbar. Everytime I visit a website, it automatically gives me numbers like Page Rank, Alexa, Google/Yahoo/Bing index, internal and external links, etc.

Mozilla Firefox has a bigger role on SEO than any other internet browsers like Internet Explorer, NetScape, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome because it's reliable and I'm allowed to install toolbars as much as I want. Not only for SEO, but I also enjoying it while watching Youtube videos, chatting with friends on Facebook and other social networking sites. Think about it guys, if you need SEO tools on your browser or for other purposes, Mozilla Firefox is the best thing here.
