Hard to Manage Many Blogs?

01 Dec 2009 04:38 am

Let me show you on how a blogger experienced to be in managing more than one blog. Let's say we have 2 blogs? 5 blogs? 10 blogs or infinity? Can you handle that on your own? How can you manage them all, if you're not ready yet to do some internet marketing.

If you're owning a blog like Blogger and WordPress, you make sure that you have some passion on the niche of each blog you handle. If you want them to stay alive, better update it or else your blog will be dead for good. Not updating your blog according to one of the top bloggers in the world, John Chow, is probably dead.

So how will you manage them all? Are all of your blogs were truly you are passionate about? Or you just do this for making money? Here are some points I consider in order for you to manage them:

1. Manage at least maximum of five blogs. Update them twice or thrice weekly if they are still young. But if it's old like 1 year or something, once a week would be fine.

2. Choose only the niches that you are passionate about. If you have five blogs on your own, make sure that each one has a different niche for a total of 5 niches. If you're not passionate about it and think just to make money, you're a toast! It is how you are interested about and how you are truly dedicated to your niche or interest.

3. Find widgets and ads that are relevant to your niche, especially CPA and affiliate programs. For example, if your blog is all about weight loss, then your ads would be relevant to weight loss, and the products and CPA offers must be related too. If not, you will only gain traffic but not customers who wants to buy the product. Widgets are also attractive to them, as they keep on coming back on your blogs to comment more over and over again. Widgets like Twitter, Facebook and other applications are useful.

Now, you know how to handle them? My point here is not really complete but it's only my own idea of being a blogger. I am doing it now and it works for my two blogs in different niches. Just do what you can do, as long your blogs are always updated.

Partnerships with guest bloggers

05 Nov 2009 03:55 am

Do you need to boost more blog posts and articles to make your blog live and updated? Since you can post a minimum of 1 blog post a day which averages over 300 words with keyword density, you need yourself another blogger which you can consider him or her as a "guest" blogger.

Guest bloggers are the types of bloggers which were invited by the blog owner itself through e-mail, to post in his blogs daily. They can have access to just posting, but not editing the widgets, templates, etc., because only the blog owner has the eligibility to do it.

What could be your benefits to invite guest bloggers?

1. More updated posts and web traffic depends on the keywords used. I prefer to say we must remind the guest bloggers to post keywords within the content that are low or average competitive in the search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing.

2. To attract more customers and visitors of your latest posts. This might increase the number of your subscribers and other visitors to comment your blog and to recommend this to their friends.

But what would be the return of the guest blogger?

1. If this is a non-paid deal, let them allow to advertise their own affiliate program, product or service to your blog which must be relevant, in order for them to generate revenue in your blog.

2. If this is a paid deal, you must return them with cash incentives per blog post. The average paid deal should be at least $1 or $2 per blog post, depending on the number of words you have stored in your blog post. You can check the word count through a website called WordCountTool.com.

Partnerships with guest bloggers are rarely used and discussed in the webmaster forums like Digitalpoint, Sitepoint, Wickedfire and other webmaster-related forums. This means that guest bloggers with experience on your chosen niche, will be benefited based on your deal either cash incentive or ad placement of their affiliate programs, products and services.
