Affiliate Vs. CPA: Which is which?

A lot of things happening right now is very challenging. If I can compare affiliate and cost-per-action programs, which is which? What method is very easy as of this moment? First of all, I understand that online and affiliate marketing is a difficult and challenging process, and that includes CPA, pay-per-download, pay-per-sale, etc.

I know that affiliate and CPA are the same, but there's something different about them. Affiliate programs focused on sales through purchased products and services. On the other hand, CPA programs are focused on sales through generating leads of valid registrations on surveys, programs, etc.

But CPA is one of the basics, because they can pay you as little as $0.20 per lead who have clicked your survey link or banner and entered their valid information and affiliate marketing programs are very high on prices.
