Tips On Eliminating Distractions On Link Building

05 Dec 2009 10:21 pm

Are you feeling distracted on what you're doing now? We know that every link building project, we spend many hours to optimize our website just to increase Google PR, Alexa Rank, number of backlinks and lots of targeted visitors. There are lots of distractions around you, in which you cannot concentrate on your link building project.

How will you eliminate all of the distractions that surrounds you when performing link building jobs? Here are some of my own tips to make sure that you will purely focus on your link building jobs:

1. Check the environment of your room. Are you comfortable enough of your surroundings? If you work with your link building in a hot area which the sun rays are pointing to your working area, transfer your computer into a shaded area. Make sure your surroundings are clean and run yourself with an ethyl alcohol to cool your body. Always point the electric fan into you so that you will be much cooler, or the best part is, buy a ceiling fan and put it above your work area and let it roll. Always open your windows in order to reduce heat.

2. If you think you are bored by yourself, just try to turn on your sound trip and let the music roll. Background music will not make you feel bored, as you keep going with your link building job. It energizes you and makes you feel attracted when working.

3. Always bring yourself a snack beside you with a cold drink. You will feel intimidated without eating and taking yourself a break. It's truly important to your body. It will keep you going to work on your link building project.

4. Don't open useless websites. Just concentrate on one thing until you're done. If you will just open other websites during your working period, it will only distract you and it may delay your working time.

5. Rest your eyes for ten minutes on every hour counts. If you will not rest your eyes, it may cause your eyes so tired and can suffer you a so-called "Computer Vision Syndrome". Always take care of your eyes, and control it's time when working on a computer, even during night time.

6. If you are being interrupted by somebody which is so important, just tell them that you almost finish your work so that you can keep in straight until you're done, and allow them to entertain you. You can save it as drafts in your spreadsheet so that you can continue your link building project without starting again from scratch.

These are just some of my tips in order not to be distracted on your link building. I hope it helps you a lot and I truly appreciate that when you apply these tips, you will be a successful link builder.

alan josef caceres This is where my main problem is all about, being distracted most of the time by my mother for just some important matters and it interrupts and delayed my working time. I don't know how to solve it then. Hahaha!
