I have been searching several times about how affiliates make money through their affiliate marketing programs. I believe that success always arrive through them, and we can do it by ourselves. But here's the real thing, affiliates have something to invest with in order to generate money from their website. Where did they get all the money anyway, in order to start make money in their affiliate programs?

Getting yourself in to the affiliate marketing world is a challenging process. Making money through affiliate marketing is not very easy as you think. It's like you are learning a SEO from the very beginning, which takes you months to get into the top of search rankings in Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Are you familiar with a program called CPA? CPA or cost-per-action is a program which affiliates earn money from their ads on their respective programs which visitors click on the ad you promoted and sign up for a free trial, paid or just a free signup.

But how will you determine if a real lead is generated? This is a very simple process of which the affiliate marketers must do in order to generate a real lead and some tips too:

1. Your lead must be a unique visitor from a different IP address.

2. If your program is only eligible for one country, then your targeted traffic should come from the country that your offer is eligible. If it's eligible to all countries, much better.

3. Do not sign up yourself. If you sign up yourself, it will be generated as a fake lead and you will not be credited.

4. Your website must be related to the offer that you posted. If it's not related (e.g., your site is weight loss but the offer is forex related), you have no chance to generate leads there. It's important that your offer must stick to the niche.

5. You can generate a lead by posting your offer on Yahoo Answers, which must be related to your offer. You can also post discussions and backlinks on social bookmarks, forums, social media, etc.
