Google page rank update happened on 31st December 2009. Google page rank update is like history repeated again. Last year Google page rank update came on the same date.
This is Google's new year gift to all SEO's and Webmasters. Google conveys the message of Happy New Year and wishes that all your websites and blogs get much higher page rank in the coming updates. Google page rank is not an important factor anymore as Google have removed the same from webmaster tools. Google usually updates page rank once in 3 or 4 months. The real-time page rank data is still a secret and only Google knows the exact real-time page rank. If you are a person who still gives value to the Toolbar PageRank then go check out your website's page rank. Hope all of you had a great page rank update.

Hey guys!
What's up? It's now 2010, the Year of the Tiger. Everybody knows that there's a New Year's resolution, especially when it comes to SEO and make money online. Since this is already a New Year for all of us, I have some resolutions for myself when it comes to SEO. So here are my own resolutions:
1. To gain more backlinks and traffic to my own blog.
2. To earn more money than I earned last year.
3. To build and start a new business of my own.
4. To be a successful entrepreneur, blogger and webmaster.
5. To gain financial freedom for my family.
These are my five resolutions for now, and it's obvious if I don't act it out. I am thinking of investing on my own business, which could be profitable and to increase target market. Customers and visitors will be attracted once I will do this in a professional way.
SEO and link building are one of the main sources of traffic for my future business. So far, I have my own professional blog which is all about me. I am now doing some of the SEO here through search engine submissions, social bookmarks, social media, social networking, forum posting and article directory submissions.
We just keep on what we're doing right now. Just build more links so that you will gain more customers and visitors everyday.

I would like to thank the year 2009 for being one of the most memorable years of my life. It helps me a lot on SEO and link building, which I learned over and over again to make this website successful as ever lived. Right now, it's time we move on to another new year, which is known as 2010.
For me, 2010 is a great chance for me to rebuild my strategy when it comes to SEO and business. I have been thinking of my New Year's resolution on how to be a successful entrepreneur and a webmaster than what I am in 2009. I have lots of goals in life which I want to achieve on my own and for my family.
In order to become a successful entrepreneur and a webmaster, I need to work hard and to study some of the professional eBooks that I have searched over the internet. I have been spending lots of time to study the market value of every niche that exists right now. It's time to being a "smart kid" when it comes to online marketing.
It's time to get serious guys, as if we would like to earn some hard cold cash this 2010, we should focus on what we're doing. Try to invest your money wislely and to think about the business which you have passion on your own. I hope for the best in 2010, as more SEO opportunities awaits us all over the world.

Hello guys. Happy New Year to all! I am so happy that we are now in the new decade and it is a new beginning for us. A journey which I can start thinking to start my own business as an entrepreneur. We'll, me and my friends discussed with each other about planning a partnership business of our own. But we need to choose the best in the market today.
Social media sites like Twitter, Facebook and Youtube are fast growing sites ever, so that's what we are planning to. But they are too competitive in the market and in the SERPS right now. But still, the important thing for me and for my friends is the unique visitors everyday. We don't care if our site is not on the top 100 pages, but traffic is the basis.
Why? We have Google Adsense of course. We can attach our Google Adsense ads in our social media site, of course it's a social networking site like Facebook and MySpace. The reason we need traffic is to increase the revenue sharing of our Google Adsense ads. We already know that social media is a fast growing business, but there are still lots of alternatives out there like forums, microblog, classified ad site or eCommerce.
So it really depends on our investment to create our own social media business. We have to be smart enough to create our own business, as well as to entertain and attract visitors as well if you want to be a successful entrepreneur someday. It's really worth to learn and to take risk of creating your business, because the more you do it, the more you learn how business is created from scratch to finish.

I would like to inform everyone that I have finally decided what my business will be. It's being complicated in the first place on the last week of 2009, of what I want to start. Will I start a forum of my own? A microblog? A social bookmark? Or an eCommerce website? We'll the thing is, I like all of them.
But when it comes to SEO, forums is the best target to start with. But I have to say that I'm running out of funds already because of less clients. So I have my own blog, which is known as Bogartkick.com. It is just a normal WP blog of mine, but I have planned to make something interesting.
So what comes into my mind, is that I can use my own SEO services which I have the guts and strength to do it. I can do forum posting, web submissions, link wheel and do-follow blog commenting as well. So I decided to put up a cheap service page of my own which I have a small team already waiting for orders, and it's here.

Then I implement my own affiliate program, which anyone can give me a client that pays any of my package, that referrer will gain 10% to 15% commission on every purchase of our services. It is a good option for me, to attract more affiliates to earn with me on every purchase of service.
Then here comes my favorite part, the forums. I should have installed BBPress on my WP blog, but thanks to the answers on Digitalpoint I have question, SimplePress is easy and the best to start. So I have no other choice but to download and install SimplePress in my WP blog. And there you have it, I have my own forum in my own blog. Woohoo!

Right now it's still not yet finished but soon it will be. You can promote your signature here if you want on every post, as my forum is very similar to Digitalpoint forums. For the revenue, I use TrafficRevenue which I have slide up ads on it below.
So now I have a blog, service, affiliate and forum in just one domain. This is a good business to start with. There are more developments to come when I will do SEO for my own blog.
2010 would be great enough for me to start a business!

As we move into the realm of asking questions and prices related to costs versus ROI. When outsourcing your SEO to a firm or consultant it becomes a bit more difficult to control costs than it does when you hire someone. Do we have an initial ROI on outsourcing our SEO?
Im not going to suggest that you cannot control costs and you cannot get a ROI. It really matters of knowing how to manage campaigns, expectations and your budget that goes along on the internet.
How much should search marketing cost? Every bit of a legitimate question, it is also like asking “How much should a computer cost?” The answer varies a great deal and there are many factors involved in coming to any conclusions. A few things that will be a factor in pricing is the quality of the firm or contractor you’re hiring, their years of (combined) experience, difficulty in the project, expected results, and of course the actual services that will be performed.
What should be included in my campaign? Ultimately it comes down to whatever you agree to. Any firm analyzing your account should have a general idea of what will be needed over the course of the next several months. However in many cases the initial assessment will only represent a piece of the overall campaign needs. While a good site audit can pinpoint the most obvious needs, many won’t be able to be uncovered until the SEO is actually in the site and working through problems.
Will I get the return on my investment? This is the ultimate goal of every marketing campaign, whether it be online or off-line. The sad truth is, not every marketing campaign is successful every time. With SEO the return on investment often doesn’t come for several months, and sometimes as long as a year or more. Competition largely plays a role in this as the more competitive the industry the more SEOs tend to charge. And with greater competition the time frame to “success” is often much longer as well. You should never enter into an SEO agreement without an expectation of success in terms of getting your return on investment, but neither should you have unreasonable expectations in how soon that return will be realized.
What kind of results should I expect? This is something that should be discussed with your SEO before signing your contract. While its near impossible to make predictions on what will happen, you can get an overall sense of what you can expect and when. Most importantly, however, is knowing what kind of results you should look for. Are you looking at rankings, traffic, sales or ROI? If you expect “success” in rankings then you may tend to ignore the increase in sales because rankings are not where you think they should be. The area of expected results should be discussed ahead of time so the SEO knows exactly what you’re looking for.

It's already a brand new level for me and for all of the SEO. The trends are at stake and it's going to be big this year. Online marketing is one of the reasons why more and more firms are successful to market their products online. So it wakes me up to build a plan of my own to do online marketing. I'm now building a method of myself by starting a blog last year and added some services, affiliate program and forum.
But what about the products that I want to market? Since I have no product, I have lots of alternatives to choose from. But it all starts with my services as a link builder. It deals with building lots of do-follow links to many do-follow sites like forums, blogs, social bookmarks and Web 2.0 sites like Squidoo and Hubpages. I can market my own services to any of these sites, even thousands of them. Only thing that matters, is when I will use keywords properly, it will determine if I did go up to the standings on the SERPS. SEO is the main thing, and I need it to be serious as possible.
In order to be a real deal of online marketing, you have to build your own brand and it must be unique. Don't make yourself a second rated service provider, think you are the best. Don't go down below, just look up and say "I am the best". But for sure, it all starts with learning seriously on SEO and online marketing. I bet that we need this in order for our business to be successful. It's really obvious how online marketers sometimes fail, due to some high competitions with other huge companies. It's because they don't study well, on how the market is to be targeted.
The real deal for me is to become one of the best and popular online marketers today, even I am young. There are some teenagers who are already starting to get involved in online marketing, which they want to make history for their family and for the world as well. Success is always coming and we need to be serious in terms of SEO and online marketing. Just think positive guys, as it is the way I am thinking right now for my own business.

If we are discussing about companies that are SEO professionals and which are just out for some bucks, every company don't just rely on SEO only. If the people in our industry can remember this when trying to create a professional SEO organization, which there are many factions trying to do this, it will go a lot smoother. It's really quite simple as it gets to be a search engine marketing professional.
Should you give the client a quote for this even though you know in your heart that it's not necessarily the best way to optimize their site? Certainly, creating those pages that way couldn't really be considered unethical or anything. But what if you see that their current site already has tons of great content pages? They really don't need to add zebra pages, they just need to tweak their current content a bit to make sure they're using words that real people use when searching in the internet.
If I were in this situation, and I couldn't persuade them how wrong, unnecessary and shortsighted their preferred technique was, I'd have to turn down the job altogether. Yeah, it's hard to turn down some decent money that a job like that could bring. I mean, you could probably even create those zebra pages using WPG's Page Generator, and give them some fancy new name. They're really not zebra pages...these ones would be giraffe pages! It could be good money for little work. And after all...it IS what the client wants, right?
That really hits the nail on the head. It would be easy for any of us to say, "Sure, why not, I'll take your money and just tweak your Meta tags" when asked to do so by a client. Of course it would be easy money. But would it be right if you knew that doing so probably wouldn't really help their site be found in the search engines? Not in my opinion; nor would it be professional SEO.
There are plenty of ways you can justify it to yourself. But the bottom line is that it's your job as a professional SEO to do what you know in your heart is right. If it means you don't get that particular job, then so be it. There will be other jobs. And there will be other clients that appreciate your looking out for their site's long-term well-being. Seriously. The money you lose from declining that type of work will be made up in so many different ways. You can bank on it!
