You just need to make your website look good, especially in terms of content, template, scripts and widgets. Videos and pictures could also attract many visitors back to your site. The easiest way to optimize your site is through Google Webmaster Tools, which you need an account there. You just add your URL to their database and there are two types of verifications namely, the meta tags and the HTML code.

Meta tags are pretty simple you know, only if you know HTML. For example in Blogger, go to layout and click "Edit HTML" and just find the "" tag and put the meta tag below it. Then on Google Webmaster Tools, click "Verify" and your site will be indexed within a week or less. For the HTML file, example "google123456789", you can use it in free sites like Yola and Weebly. They have a special menu which you can put the HTML code in their tab and you're done! Your site has been indexed! Optimizing your site can take time, after your site was finally appeared on the search results, it's time for you to promote them manually through the use of SEO. This is where your site can be determined to drive traffic depending on the niche and the combination of keywords you use. So we know how Google Webmaster Tools helped us optimized our sites, and it's a good way to kick start your small-medium sized business only if you are serious about indexing and optimizing your site.

How important are the high-quality contents to the website?

19 Oct 2009 10:41 pm

Millions of visitors are surfing in the internet right now, and increasing. Let's say if you search keywords or keyphrases like "SEO" or "search optimizing", search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing, you will see results which are on the top to bottom. Why are they ranked high in search engines? One of the things which your site could rank high in the search engines are your high-quality content. Why? High-quality contents are the basis of activity in your website. Visitors may attract to your content once the sentence and grammar construction are high-quality and original, along with keyword-rich texts within your content.

High-quality contents are one of the results which your website delivers a good image both inside and outside of the internet world. The visitors may keep on coming back to your website as long your updated contents are high-quality, and may lead them to refer others back to your website and comment on the content you just published. Some clients hire freelancers who they think can provide good, original and high-quality content, and most importantly....the keyword and keyphrase combination within your content. Keywords and keyphrases are another basis of getting your site to the top of search rankings, but you must be able to determine how competitive your keywords are. You must not stick to highly competitive keywords because it's too difficult or too late for you when it comes to SERPS (Search Engine Ranking Position). You just stick to average or low competition keywords or keyphrases which can be searched through Google Keyword Analyzer Tool under Google Adwords.

If you think you're not good enough to provide high-quality content on your own, then better hire a freelancer or content writer with such high-quality. Unless, if you are good in content writing through sentence construction and grammar, then you can save money for yourself and bring high-quality to your website. In return, visitors may become attracted and subscribe to your website...or even you have widgets like "Connect with Facebook" or "Follow Me on Twitter", especially "ReTweet" buttons on each post, your website or blog may become popular than ever.

Just remember, always stick to high-quality contents, not lower ones.

Low competition keywords vs. high competition keywords

19 Oct 2009 10:44 pm

Keywords are naturally developed throughout the years, and it's still growing. We may see how the keywords we used are effective right now only depends on how competitive they are. Keywords are different from keyphrases which are used mostly by article writers.

There are three types of keywords or keyphrases, and these are:

1. High competitive keywords - these are keywords or keyphrases that are mostly used by webmasters or bloggers right now to post content in their blog or website. These keywords usually competed with each other on the top of search engine ranking pages (SERPS).

2. Average competitive keywords - these are keywords or keyphrases that are neutrally used by webmasters or bloggers right now to post content in their blog or website. These keywords usually also competes with the high ranking ones until they found themselves on the top of search engine ranking pages (SERPS).

3. Low competitive keywords - these are keywords or keyphrases that are only occassionally or seldom used by the webmasters or bloggers to post content in their blog or website. these keywords are naturally recommended to all fresh webmasters and bloggers who want to kick start their own website.

If we compare the low ones and the high ones, we might say that the low ones give you a chance to use that keyword for your website or blog and boost it to the top of search engine ranking pages. Low competitive keywords are truly recommended for fresh webmasters and bloggers because they have a chance to make it highly competitive and their website could be on the top of search engine results.

If you are using highly competitive keywords, you may only have a slight chance to be included into the top of search engine ranking pages (SERPS). Meaning more and more people are using the keyword and competed with each other to the top. Your site may be way down below the search results, could end up on the last page of the search results.

Better stick to low competitive keywords than the higher ones.l

Can we handle huge link building projects?

21 Oct 2009 10:37 pm

If you are given an opportunity to work for a client or firm about a huge link building project, will you accept? Well most of the service providers are accepting the huge job because of money. The purpose why the clients want to hire service providers for a huge link building projects is to gain more backlinks.

Link building companies do not have to guarantee results like SEO companies do. But the SEO companies still need to decide whether or not to take on new SEO clients? This is why link building is such a booming industry.

Backlinks are the source of traffic, page ranks and a possibility of increasing your site in the top search results in Google, Yahoo or Bing. Huge link building projects are a great help for both clients and service providers.

Clients earn huge traffic, backlinks and popularity to their site while service providers earn huge money from them. Of course, clients make sure that the service provider is trusted. We can determine that by requesting them to see samples in their previous works.

If they can't show anything, you must let them work first before you pay. But if they have samples that satisfy you, you can make an advanced payment to their package or a 50% upfront payment. In that way, you may see how your service provider is trustworthy. Huge link building projects can be expected long term results.

It can be within one month or two months, depending on how many backlinks does the client wants you to generate. If they can say 1,000 backlinks or more, it can be expected more than one month, but if we can say less than 1,000 backlinks to be generated, it could be much faster results.

Huge link building projects are one of the greatest projects in the internet you will ever generate as a service provider. You make huge money which they pay you for your services, while the clients will gain popularity, backlinks and huge amount of traffic from unique visitors.

Maintaining your website's traffic too exhausting?

19 Oct 2009 10:46 pm

Maintaining your website's traffic and backlinks are one of the most difficult and challenging to make. It is not easy because there are lots of things you need to take care of every month which includes:

* Monthly pay to your web hosting (e.g., GoDaddy, Hostgator, BlueHost, etc.)

* Forum posting with signatures

* Manual web directory submissions

* Article/blog/press release directory submissions

* Article writing (with keyword/keyphrases), Blog posting and Press Release writing

* Linkwheel

* E-mail blasts and list building

* Promoting to classified ads and social media/networks

* And so much more!

These are the things we need to maintain monthly for one site only, just to keep things going for building backlinks and traffic. It's really simple you know, but it's pretty exhausting. Webmasters spent most of their time performing SEO tactics whether it's blackhat or whitehat mode. Imagine you are just maintaining it and no more time for relaxing and hang out with your family and friends, but in return your site will become popular in the SERPS (Search Engine Ranking Pages). Unless if you're hiring a virtual assistant which could be found in webmaster forums like Digitalpoint, Sitepoint, GetAFreelancer, LimeExchange, ODesk, WickedFire, Craigslist and other databases which can take your place, it's great but you need to pay for him every month at least $75 or more monthly.

Virtual assistants can maintain your site every month, as they take over your place. It could be single or a team, but I think a tea of virtual assistants could work out best for you so that they can save time for some extra time for leisure, rather than hiring only one virtual assistant who can work more than 10 hours daily. This is where you and virtual assistants are challenged to maintain the site's traffic, backlinks and popularity. It's really worth for both you and them because you gain backlinks, they earn money from you for paying them for maintenance of your website.

Will The Internet Evolve In The Next Ten Years?

23 Oct 2009 05:14 am

Since the birth of the internet way back a few days ago, when the first ever term named on the internet was ARPANET. It has been evolved for decades until it changed their named from ARPANET to internet in the earnly 80's. In 1991, they also introduced the term, World Wide Web, which is the main and first extension of the website.

Internet was normally used for basic searching purposes in top search engines like Yahoo and Google, and Bing was renamed after they call it MSN on the first ever launch of their company. We believe that from ARPANET way back decades ago, has totally made a full impact to evolve around the world by using the word internet and the world wide web (WWW).

Today, internet was also used for online business, social networking, chatting, playing games, watching videos and many more. But there were other things that using the internet illegally was through hacking other's account, spamming on websites and other cheating purposes.

Viruses, worms, spyware and malware are also evolving throughout the years like DDOS, Trojan Horse and Conficker virus which could damage your computer internally and can cause severe malfunction. Anti-virus softwares and firewalls are also developing through the use of new technology and features that the user will be protected while using the internet.

But the question is, from today we saw that internet has been mostly used by millions of people around the world, especially in outer space, will it evolve once again in ten more years? For me, I do believe that it will evolve because more and more genius type people who have different schemes on their own, can make a difference to change everything.

Without the internet, things could get slower here in the world. As technology always evolving, the internet world will also evolve, and there's nothing that could stop and try to take them down. But we have to be sure that we use the internet on a legal and stable situation, not to abuse them.
